What I'll Take Care Of

Route Planning & Logistics

I will take care of the route planning and logistics so you can focus on enjoying the experience. From choosing the route to bringing the group gear, I'll make sure to cover all the bases to make the trip flow smoothly from start to finish. Depending on your comfort level, we have options to go to established backcountry campsites, or we can be fully out in the wilderness

Meal Planning & Cooking

I will plan simple, satisfying backcountry meals and prepare them for us at camp. We'll discuss dietary preferences to make sure the meals are right for your group. All you need to come prepared with is your own lunches and snacks, and I'll handle breakfasts and dinners. There's nothing like coming out of your tent in the morning to a freshly brewed cup of backcountry coffee!

Safety & Communication

I will bring a fully-stocked group first aid kit and backcountry communication devices so you can relax and enjoy the experience knowing that all the important safety details are covered. I will share our detailed trip plan with you beforehand and you can share it with your loved ones so that everyone knows where we're headed and how long we'll be.

What You'll Need to Bring

No previous backpacking experience is required, but you should feel comfortable carrying a heavier pack for a full day. I’m always happy to answer questions ahead of time and offer guidance so you feel prepared and confident heading into the trip.

Guests are responsible for bringing their own personal backpacking and camping gear, including a 60L+ backpack, sturdy hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and tent. A detailed packing list will be provided before the trip so you can make sure you’re fully prepared. If you’re missing a few pieces of gear, rentals may be possible - feel free to reach out and we can look at options. I want these experiences to be as accessible as possible!

I’ll provide shared group equipment such as backcountry cooking gear, group meals, a comprehensive first aid kit, emergency equipment, and backcountry communication devices.

Let's Plan Your Backpacking Trip!

Since backpacking trips are private and custom-designed, booking starts with a quick email. Send me a message with a few details about the kind of trip you have in mind, and we’ll come up with a plan together that fits your group, experience level, and goals.

To get started, include:

  • Your preferred trip length (1, 2, or 3 nights)

  • Group size

  • Experience level with hiking or backpacking

  • Rough timing or dates you’re hoping for

  • Anything specific you’re excited about (wildflowers, alpine lakes, learning backpacking skills, etc.)

Once we’ve confirmed the details, I’ll send an invoice for secure payment by credit card or e-transfer to reserve your trip.

We're looking forward to adventuring with you!
